About Jennifer Ciavirella Schmidberger

An education professional in Yorktown Heights, New York, Jennifer Ciavirella Schmidberger serves as the Director of Student Support Services and Curriculum and Instruction at the Bronx Charter School for the Arts. Jennifer Ciavirella Schmidberger holds a range of responsibilities there, from facilitating individualized education program (IEP) processes to planning and overseeing the school’s intervention programming for at-risk students. Ms. Ciavirella began her career in education as a teacher at Sacred Heart Elementary School in 1997. While attending undergrad, she played collegiate basketball and softball and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She is a member of the Zumba Instructor Network. With more than six years of experience in leading classes at clubs and gyms, she teaches eight classes weekly. She has also spent several years as a volunteer Amateur Athletic Union girls basketball coach.
